Terms and Conditions

Welcome to our homeschool support service. By enrolling your child and using this website or any of our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Overview

This homeschool support service is run by a Christian tutor offering academic guidance for home-educated children. The goal is to nurture both learning and character in line with Christian values.

2. Services Provided

Classroom based academic support in core subjects such as English, Maths, History, French, Spanish, Computing, Music, Science, learning skills, business studies/entrepreneurship, basic politics, economics and philosophy
Classroom based learning and access to UpliftED website members section.
Materials and plans tailored to your child’s needs
Encouragement from a Christian perspective, including devotional moments, prayer and classical hymns

3. Fees and Payment

Organisations that offer similar services to UpliftED charge around £30 a day or £350 a month. However, our aim is to accept any family that wishes to join our community regardless of means. Please get in touch with me at info@uplifteduk.org and I will be very happy to discuss financial contribution and membership options on an individual basis.
Payment is accepted by bank transfer or another agreed method

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Please give two weeks’ notice if you intend to withdraw from tuition
Missed sessions are non-refundable
If I am unable to teach due to illness or other reasons, learning for the period of my absence will be set on the UpliftED website. There are no refunds for home-based learning in the event of my absence.

5. Attendance and Punctuality

Regular, punctual attendance helps ensure progress
Parents are responsible for ensuring children attend on time
Attendance is at the discretion of parents although regular attendance is highly encouraged.
Please try to let me know the night before if your child is not attending the next days lessons.

6. Parental Responsibility

This is a support service, not a registered school
Legal responsibility for your child’s education remains with you
Any necessary reporting to local authorities is your responsibility

7. Christian Ethos

The service operates with a clear Christian foundation
All content is taught from a Christian worldview. Each day involves a morning prayer and modern worship song and a classical hymn.
All families are welcome regardless of faith background but the values of the family must align with the values of UpliftED and the rest of the class.

8. Safeguarding and Conduct

Both I and my support teacher hold an enhanced DBS certificate
A safe, respectful learning environment is maintained at all times
Disrespectful or disruptive behaviour will lead to a formal warning and then discontinuation of services with no refund for the month.

9. Confidentiality and Data Protection

Personal data is handled confidentially and stored securely
Information will not be shared without your consent unless legally required

10. Changes to Terms

Terms and Conditions may be updated occasionally
Any major changes will be communicated directly to enrolled families
